Le restaurant est ouvert du lundi au vendredi, midi et soir.
La Philosophie,
A la suite de mes différentes expériences j’ai eu envie de construire un restaurant singulier, un restaurant qui me permettrait de revenir au fondamentaux, de me permettre d’exprimer ma cuisine tout en véhiculant les valeurs qui me semblent aujourd’hui indispensables.
Je vous propose une carte volontairement réduite afin de vous proposer une cuisine entièrement faite maison avec des produits locaux, de saisons, issues de producteurs responsables et éthiques.
Pour moi un repas, c’est avant tout un partage, un moment d’échange et de retrouvailles.
C’est pour cela que j’ai décidé d’ouvrir mon restaurant seul, je souhaite vous recevoir comme à la maison, de cuisiner pour vous, de vous servir et d’échanger au cour du repas dans le but que vous passiez un bon moment et oubliez le temps.
Je suis fier de pouvoir vous accueillir au sein de Soul Kitchen qui représente la somme de toutes mes expériences.

super ! j'y suis allée déjà 4 fois; tout est très bon. juste dommage qu'il n'y ait que 2 menus, dont le menu bourguignon qui ne change pas ce qui n'incite pas à y retourner souvent

Shout out to Soul Kitchen in Beaune, France. Matthew the owner of a 5 table establishment. He is the chef and waiter. When asked how did he come up with the name of the restaurant and he said that his Soul is in his restaurant. Even though he does everything he makes each customer feel special and spends time with everyone. Because he does everything it seems like you are eating at his home He has a daily menu item, the Boeuf Bourgogne and another menu item he changes weekly. He is only 40 years old and his restaurant is booked every night. the Boeuf Bourgogne was excellent. He also has a great wine selection. Tres magnifique! https://www.soulkitchen-beaune.fr/

Nice and cozy place to eat in Beaune. You have just the owner serving and cooking. The food is quite good, specially the Époisses tart that’s out of this world. The wine list is the only thing that needs more work.

vérifié Birthday treat, and what a treat. Looking for a birthday/anniversary treat in Beaune and read the reviews. Surely 78 reviewers saying 5 stars MUST mean something. It did. This place is wonderful. From the ambience through to the food and drink it was just superb. Only 14 places (including three at the bar that the owner tends to keep for friends) you'll have to book well in advance. But if you can get your plans in order it is well worth it. As mentioned in other reviews it's a one man show and the Epoisses tart is stunning! For once you can believe the reviews.

vérifié Soul Kitchen is a singular experience Made a reservation for our first dinner in France on the recommendation of a trusted friend and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The époisses tart was hands down the best thing I ate in France. The restaurant’s format—a one-person venture—is warm, welcoming, something I am so grateful to have experienced.

vérifié Lovely meal We enjoyed our meal here. Very small owner run restaurant. We had 2 menues to choose from. We had one of each and shared. The meal was supper yummy. Especially starter and dessert. He recommended some nice wines too. It’s a very small restaurant but was cost and enjoyable experience

vérifié Petite pépite au cœur de Beaune Très belle découverte lors de notre passage à Beaune. Ce petit restaurant cosy est géré par le patron qui s’occupe à la fois de la cuisine et du service. L’accueil est parfait et en toute simplicité. 2 menus au choix: le permanent et le versatile. Les plats sont délicieux, cuisinés avec de bons produits de saison. Nous avons passé un moment très agréable au Soul Kitchen!

vérifié Worth a detour - absolutely great meal Because of the excellent reviews, we tried to make dinner reservations, but no spots were available while we were in Beaune. We then tried lunch on the following day, and food was great. There are two options offered, a menu for meat and a menu for fish. We went with the fish, which was a perfectly prepared trout absolutely free of bones and delicious. We started with a mushroom soup, which was superb. Dessert was mascarpone confection with pears, which again was wonderful. One of the best meals of our three weeks in Europe. Because there are just a few seats at tables and a 3 seat counter, best to make reservations at least a week in advance, although lunch seatings may be available.

vérifié mini resto très sympa ! tout petit resto. déjeuner sympa avec une amie. le monsieur est tout seul ! c'est très bon et on a apprécié la cuisine maison. seul petit hic, 30 euros le menu, pour le déjeuner on ne peut pas y aller souvent quand on travaille. et il est fermé le soir

vérifié Simply, Great Experience What a fantastic interesting business model Mathieu has created. One of the top dining experiences that we have enjoyed and that is even up there with some Michelin star experiences! You are greeted, waited on, food cooked, plated and served, then cleared by Mathieu. He orchestrates everyone's evening with friendly precision. His food is amazingly good. Wine list good as well. Make sure you make a reservation in advance for you will be more than likely be disappointed showing up at the door hoping for a seating. Bravo Mathieu and Merci Beaucoup!
